It's no secret that
clubs large or small will be busy during the summer months and
the Holiday season. But what happens after January 1st could
also find many Bouncers
out of a
job. Clubs are negatively affected by the weather, students
returning to school and tourist returning to their homes in
other states and countries.
This would reduce
the amount of patrons coming out to the clubs as well as
reducing the amount of employees needed to work the clubs. As
bartenders and waitresses would also be affected Bouncers would
be the first one's to be let go.
If you live in an
area that has several clubs or you are able to get to an area as
such, work can be found in many clubs on various nights. For
example, Club A remains busy on Friday nights due to a promoter
who has a long list of loyal guest. Clubs B who is across the
street has been slow on Friday nights for the last 2 months.
Club C who is just around the corner has a "Battle of the Bands"
event every Saturday night for the next 3 months.
The opportunity
for work has has increased for you at Club A and Club C on their
one busy night being Friday or Saturday. Clubs are no longer
busy just on the weekends.
Working at
multiple clubs throughout the week will replace what you've lost
working at one club and could possibly increase your earnings
overall.
If you seek to
work at multiple clubs be sure to inform each of the clubs'
hiring manager that you also work at other clubs during the
week. Some will allow it thinking that you do have more than the
experience to work in their club. Or they may disapprove of you
working with the completion or might not approve of the other
club's way of doing business. In any case be honest with them as
many other opportunities can come from it. |
