Police are still
looking for a man suspected of stabbing two bouncers during
a disturbance in Old Town.
The incident
occurred about 12:35 a.m. Saturday outside Club Indigo at
126 N. Mosley, police have said. Two Club Indigo bouncers
became embroiled in a fight with about 10 Asian men whom
they had ejected from the club.
A bouncer from
the nearby Heroes sports bar saw the disturbance and tried
to come to the other bouncers' aid, Lt. Mike Hennessy said
today. He crossed the street and was stabbed in the chest
and stomach.
A second bouncer
was stabbed in the shoulder. A third bouncer was injured
after being hit in the head and face, Hennessy said.
The 23-year-old
Heroes bouncer was transported to Via Christi Regional
Medical Center-St. Francis Campus for treatment.
The two other
bouncers went to Wesley Medical Center in private vehicles
for treatment.
