Man roughed up town bouncer

A manwas arrested for using threatening behaviour after being refused entry to a town night club.

Paul Bostock, of Manor Drive, Great Gonerby, admitted the public order offence after grabbing a doorman “by the scruff of the neck”.

Rory McMillan, defending, told the court Bostock, 26, went to the club to bring his partner home. When she didn’t follow him outside and door staff would not let him back in, he became irate.

Bostock also admitted breaching a conditional discharge after grabbing a staff member at Asda by the throat.

He was sentenced to a six-month community order.
